The wind will more than likely drop over easter just so we can hold all the tourist traffic up as we are busy spraying/spreading thus giving them the chance to view the countryside at a gentle pace or they will have parked in the gateway and gone for a walk
You truly are a kind hearted fellow, sacrificeing your Easter holiday so others can get that little bit more out of theirs!
Have you tried Andrews salt
That's going to increase the wind, not stop it...

i surely am and whats more with the new extension tines on the pallet forks its so much easier to help them park out of the way

We've been spraying all day - can't see the problem. Keep the booms nice and low and carry on:

In the interests of promoting responsible spraying, it was actually standing still. Also just water to set up the new Topcon section control system. Let's just hope that's what all these other farms are doing!

Looks like he's doing 25k in reverse!!
Same here. It sounded like it was lashing it down last night, but only 3mm in the gauge. Off to do another 100ac of Atlantis now, hopefully.

just finished all wheat/grass fert and the remaining bits of weed killer apart from 1 load which can wait wind dropped and no rain here so looks like weekend just feeding up and checking the sheep, unheard of to have a full bank holiday with minimum work
