Ahh cheers, seems a shame somehow. I'd of thought the smaller ones would have gotten cheaper by now. Heaps less engineering than a car but as expensive as a house. Go figure?
Are they correct ours has done 50,000 kwh since December60kw* 24hrs =1440kw * 365days= 525600kw a year at 30% efficiency is 157680kw a year which would be a good amount some are running low 20,s the 30% would be a wind speed of 6.5 at least if not more I'm afraid
Is that what you expected from the machine? Are they correct ours has done 50,000 kwh since December
its supposed to do 150,000kwh a year so not looking promisingIs that what you expected from the machine?
How can they guarantee the wind speed for 10 yrs there's one near me and it's only doing just over half what Northern power told him it wouldNorthern power now have a 10ry expectancy guarantee which is sounds cool.
Digging the base at the moment for my 225kw your not filling me full of hope roscoeits supposed to do 150,000kwh a year so not looking promising
My 168000 kw's estimated annual production turbine has only done 105000 kw's in 10 1/2 months and turbine's are only going to slow down production now as warm soft winds don't make hardly any electric. I think most dealer's increase estimated production to make turbine's look better every time the FIT's alter.its supposed to do 150,000kwh a year so not looking promising
yes its not been as good as i would have hoped but i suppose by dec it may have caught upDigging the base at the moment for my 225kw your not filling me full of hope roscoe
What figures were yours based on was it noabl?
It is after all only an average so there will be better and worse years. I know one farmer locally who put in an E3120 about 6 yrs ago now and it has well exceeded his forecasts.yes its not been as good as i would have hoped but i suppose by dec it may have caught up
Good luck you'll need itDigging the base at the moment for my 225kw your not filling me full of hope roscoe

How's yours working out happy or not? guess you need to give it a year or 2 before you can really judge itGood luck you'll need it
Our number one Endurance has done 116000kwh in six months exactly. The second one is a couple of months younger but on the higher site and its gaining fast. Both on a good site though. Are they correct ours has done 50,000 kwh since December
NOABL really is just a wild stab at accuracy. It generally overestimates windspeed by something like +0.5. More accurate assessments are available for not a lot of money. If anyone's still thinking about small turbines you really should get a better assessment than NOABL before you do anything else. Hardly any of these projects stack up now sadly.yes its not been as good as i would have hoped but i suppose by dec it may have caught up
Did get told today tho an E3120 is now 175k installed!!!!!! Dropped 60k in the last 12 month'sNOABL really is just a wild stab at accuracy.
