Hi all. Need a little advice as I have the chance to get a 1979 Ford 8200 with 7400 hours on the clock. Tractor is 4wd very clean for age and hours. Strange thing is seller claim its got electrick controlled Dual Power ( I only seen it the tractor on pictures). I dont need it for work but more as an investment in a future/current classic tractor with a history at both Ford and County. What it's worth ? Tia JH Farmer Denmark

@Nearly .

Depends on condition, any where from £3-7k?
Duel power will be pedal on floor, which I assume is electric on those models, earlier ones had a lever on dashboard(mechanical)

Bloke on fb had one and couldn't get a bid at £5k so put new tyres on it and kept it.

I bought an 8100 4wd but haven't used it yet. My DP is mechanical pedal I think.
Has the 82 the county heritage as it was a stressed block and ford axle, so not schindler or county?
On a roof at the moment so haven't the books with me.
Stop tagging me! ;)

Back on terra firma, nipped in for a kettle.
I stand corrected obviously if @agrimax says so. Both tractors equally 'County' and 'Schindler'.
Values (in UK) as above really.
Judging by adverts recently, someone has decided that 8210's are worth £10k as opposed to £5k last year.
Just get it bought if it's orignal and runs well.
My 8100 is very original, even including the track rod ends! :banghead::banghead::mad: ;)

This shows mechanical DP pedal as on 8100, can't find pics of 8200 floor.

Made by County but a good tractor Probably worth £5K We have one but wouldn't take less than £6 for it.
