My Ford 6710 Turbo Restoration

Here is the before and afterwards for my ford 6710 turbo restoration ,, a fairly rare tractor in the uk will upload some more pictures soon ,, i will take it easy as the engine has been sat for a few years thinking a few runs out before i even hook out to the PTO break it back in again !

i have set her up to do a bit of ploughing when i get around to it so got some 13.6 on for now with the 14 inch plough but i agree i need to fund for some monsters on the back !

Front grille would have been ford tractor grey as wheels when new... 6700/7700 were black... Very nice job there and nice to see original seat retained. I have a couple of 6710's here, both 4wd one standard, the other turbo.

What hp is your turbo one putting out ? .. also would be nice to know what weight it can tow comfortably

Looks stunning but only one thing spoils it to me and that is the decal on the nose cone with FORD in capitals. I suspect it is a copyright issue as all the aftermarket decals I see are like this but to me it really looks wrong

Diff lock. Be careful, once locked, you won't be able to steer very well. May have to dip clutch/dab brakes to disengage as well.
Duel power maybe a flick switch on the dash on earlier models.
I think the badge I bought was plastic.

I had a 7710 on 1983 and dual power switch was between clutch and brake pedal.id suggeast the picture is of a much later tractor with the switch on left to rear of clutch
