Trimble or patch work

I'm after a simple plug and play gps system for spraying grassland of the quad bike. Would like a product I can move from the bike to tractor for other jobs. Any other make to consider? Pros and cons of both systems?

Also thinking about a simple gps, is the patchwork blackbox easy to move from one tractor to another? and how accurate is it compared to the trimble 250 with ag15 upgrade?

The Patchwork unit is easy to use and in todays touchscreen revolution the most intuitive to use.
It is easy to move from machine to machine, its a self contained plug and play system.
If you go for the Eco+ you get built in GLONASS.
Regarding the accuracy, it has built in "Terrain Compensation" which to copy and paste from their website

"Without Terrain Compensation, the steeper the gradient, the higher the inaccuracy, a slope of just 5 degrees can offset your GPS by 21cm."

So if you buy anything without TC your accuracy will be compromised anyway.

I find the patchwork very glitchy and the only thing it has going for it is the tilt compensation. A blackbox raven was a far better unit imo

There will have been several update since your experiences. Of that I'm positive. Of all the units we have sold, I have never been given that as feedback, Although I do appreciate what you are saying as you experience.

The Patchwork Go is a solid solution for all what you will need, even if you decided to go auto steer and or auto section control. The Blackbox Eco+ will not upgrade to that, so if you think for a might want those add ons at a later date then the Eco+ is not for you.

If auto steer/section is not for you then the Eco+ is the best in its class, of that I have no doubt.

Got a Mojomini, it is fine but have a good look at the Patchwork as suggested by simpers, for the reasons he gives.
Not sure if you can link a simple remote on off switch (eg, mounted on top of spool lever etc) to Patchwork, but if you can it will be a major bonus if you plan to use the area treated function.
