A bit of fine tuning needed, but doing ok.

Needs filling every 25yds ? :scratchhead:
no it carries about 700kg wet hen pen, enough for 1/4/acre.
up and down with 4f plough at 16 inches is 3m wide
so a field 300m long gets 700kg on 900m sq = 7.7t/ha
so you scoop up a load every time you come back to the headland.
no loader needed, no getting out the cab to load and getting stinky .
operator needs to be on the ball though, and obviously no use on big arable fields, but they dont plough anyway
aimed at smaller farms.

Wouldn't it be more efficient to have another man muck spreading at the same time?
thats what i did before. the spreader driver gets lots of sleep, ties up the forklift all day, etc
ideally you need 2 ploughs, a keenan orbital, 3 tractors and a forklift. who can afford all that?
the biggest trouble with muckspreaders is getting one when you want.
it may be faster, but is it more efficient?
