Interesting (worrying?) Bruce Stevenson have 'made a strategic decision not to offer policies for that class of turbine'. Lycetts provisional ball park quote £1000 - a massive hike due to 'developing claims history (not specifically Endurance)' and indicated that some of their existing customers in for a shock when it comes to renewal!

Lighting public liability and storm damage would be fairly common risk to cover along with loss of earnings as a result of damage and so on .
If you have an existing policy for your farm with NFU they will add on cover for the turbine and that would I think would be the cheapest way to do it they won't offer cover unless you have an existing policy.
