Sad to see in the local news that Cricketer are ceasing cheese production at Nether Stowey. They talk of significant financial losses and losing a major contract.Ther are said to be nearly 70 employees (seems a lot) who will lose their jobs.Do they have their own contracted milk suppliers?

Very sad news we probably are the only local dairy farm which doesn't supply them, mostly tenant farms , spoke to a couple today nobody wants there milk unless they find someone soon more dairy farmers will be able to farm.

I don't know who the lost their shelf space too , second somerset cheese maker in the local area to dissappear in the last couple of years, think the problem of eggs in one basket doesn't help, acting sooner may of helped them but I don't think this will be the last, as you said a couple of days ago this may make the Parkham suppliers sweat abit?

they had 32ish suppliers. their milk will be picked up unto the end of feb 2016. so they do at least have a little time on their side
Time they may have, but talking to a friend would is also in your discussion group, if nobody will take you on it makes little difference? Cricketer maybe helping but as cheese making milk it's no good selling to nearby milk buyer as they want white water?
