Acorns are certainly indigestible if not poisonous to humans so perhaps there is an unconscious warning in the name.
Certainly seems that as one tree is cut down the coppice regrows.

Think this infestation is more like Japanese Knotweed, requires a very specialist contractor, and in this case they seem to be frightened of the depth and area of the infestation.

Seems one of the things an LPA receiver should do is introduce themselves and try to help sort the situation without the need to sell the property. Have to wonder how many of the peoples who's farms were sold know what Nick Burd looks like?

Mr Burd took both my Farms
we have never seen him or had any correspondence with him
the only member of this motley crew we had the privilege of meeting were Simon Alford Richard Turner & John Pricket of Richard Turner & Son on the day of our eviction
after that not a dickey Bird
we were threatened with bankruptcy this never happened
all the above acted out side the law of property act 1925 & they claim to be reputable members of R I C S

Well a bit of virtue from Mr Mosely last night on Downton !! (well Edmund Burke actually),but I thought it might serve as a bit of a quote for today.

All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.

Not that I'm describing the contributors to this thread as good of course:):)

No wonder Lloyds are now being looked at closely when they employ the Scarlet Pimpernel, Burd, surely there ex customers should have been able to identify the rogue removing their properties
