How come I was paying £7 per 20 kg bale for these 5 years ago?
Had to buy an artic load to get them at that price to.
Bottom fallen out of the shavings market?
Sawdust cheaper than shavings?

2009 there was a huge shortage of shavings, combined with a poor exchange rate made them expensive. Now the reverse applies although supplies are tightening in the run up to Christmas

Plus now there are more alternatives out there that prople swithced to when shavings got too dear
