AB Sustain are currently seeking a data collection officer to undertake farm assessments across Wales on a self-employed basis. The ideal candidate will have practical on-farm experience with sheep across different production systems. A basic understanding of farm records/recording systems is essential, along with an interest in improving production efficiency.
Basic IT Literacy skills are necessary for data input, although full training will be given to the successful candidate. Confident communication by phone and in person is crucial, along with the ability to organise, prioritise and take responsibility for your own time management.
Assessments are seasonal with the majority of work available between the months of June to October each year, although this can be further negotiated where applicable.
