Machinery dealers worth a visit?

On our way down to Cheffins on Friday lads, will be travelling via M6 and A 14 past Birmingham, Coventry and Kettering to Huntingdon. Last year we called in at John Bownes, and had a great visit. Anywhere else worth a look in on the way past? Thanks, Tha Ulsterscot.

Startin tractors have masses of stock. They are about 3 miles from Junction 11 off the M42 which is about 15 miles from the M6 at a guess.

Not many dealers left round here , they're going bust regularly .
Anyway when you go down the hill after Keele services give us a wave, we're about 8 miles south east but I'll keep me eyes open (y)

Isn't there something more interesting to see than a dealers yard full of tractors when your on the way to look at..................a yard full of tractors? Each to their own I suppose.

i can understand bownes's as it has hundred's of old fords round the back waiting for export, but not sure about any other dealers, 5 min walk and you've seen everything

Didn't someone say there was a guy with a field full of trailed forage harvesters somewhere, even showed a few over the hedge on google maps

How about going across the A50 and down the M1. That's the way we go, just as quick and avoids the traffic through Birmingham and the toll road and you get to go past the JCB factory.
