Dania D900

Its a dirty dusty job driving the 950, but there is something very satisfying about combining, and I like doing it. Although she isn't that fast, I'm not standing waiting on a contractor, watching all the good days pass, to have him arrive early in the morning or late at night. I can cut 5-6 acres per day with no problem, and give the old girl plenty of time to put it in the tank, not on the ground. If there is no panic you can also do 3-4 acres in the middle of the day while the crop is at its driest. Having a combine of your own to me is a win win situation.
PS. your also right about it never sitting out, not even through a shower.(y)

blimey, i can remember dad going to hillsbourough for parts now you mention it,but that was at least 25 years ago
blimey, last i heard pembrokeshire was in Scotland ??????????????
your dad came from Scotland to Hillsborough for Parts, must have been good parts, LOL.
on second thoughts, i went to Scotland for a grain cleaner, so i suppose that evens things out.
Active were very popular here to at a time but imo none produced a sample like a Dania.
Thats a real tidy combine and must be the cleanest in the world ! the cleanest between here and Scotland anyhow
and a credit to its owner ill bet it never sat out a night in its life.

pembrokeshire is in west wales, but i grew up in co antrim, in may 1995 we moved to wales

When my mate put his on e-bayin mid august he did not have much go on it, I put the link on here and it sold in a couple of days, moreover one guy came down to see as a collector and thought it was not good enough, one of the WAC students had reversed the back end into a wall at some point. That collector was sent to another Dania in the area which he bought, and came to collect with his 50k Fendt from North Wales

He would have had another buyer but I missed it. Still keep looking as I have a use for one but must be a bagger or dual.

Looks to be in good order, I had one and it was a great wee combine, six acres on a good long day, no problem, and they leave a good clean sample.
I drove mine on the 1000 RPM shaft and the tractor was only little more than tickover. The only difference I can see is that my unloading auger folded back along the side of the machine. Has that one Hydraulics?

we had 500 then 600.
I remember going to McCready to get it first over 45 years ago as they brought them in first, before C Johnstons took over. We cut up to 90 acres/yr with one.
Know a guy who has 3 still, keeps for parts to make sure at leasst one goes.
