Same basic pump in t2 Perks as Sisu. Bosch may be a big name but they could have made these to be more reliable. Nevertheless it should not fail again repeatedly like yours.
Mechanically identical pumps have been used by John Deere, Case, New Holland and most probably others.

We had a going on with a bosch pump on our 5470, dealer came an said it needed a new one, we buggered them off after they threw it in the scrap bin without asking us. Got independent bloke in and turned out it had come loose and just needed timing up properly again

IMO they are stupid to time up...

We've asked and asked...! But they not got anything apparently... So yea, just have to see how it goes or when it goes.
We had issues last year with a 6499 on 2500 hrs. It was my mowing tractor with front PTO and I lost it for about 5 weeks in total . Repaired once and then same thing occurred a week later there was a big problem getting bits from France.
However in my case the Dealer Chandlers were excellent and for the second period bought me a demo Fendt they had specifically fitted with front PTO to keep me smiling . During the first period they turned up the following day with another 6499 without the PTO.
Although the dealer was excellent the experience put me of MF and so for the first time ever I have just bought a NH T210 and T250 to replace my old Atles and Ares. No tractor expert but I rather like driving these very comfy and simple.

You expect the dealer to hire a tractor in and pay the haulage both ways at their own expense? Get real! It's not their bloody tractor. They have sourced the best they could from their own recourses and are unlikely to charge for it. Don't push it. They could hire a bigger/better tractor but don't expect them to bare the very considerable cost of it on their back. Good Lord, you'll be wanting it coated in free honey next.
Has he or has he not had a tractor to get his work done? Yes he has. Push it a lot and that privilege might disappear and a hire bill be forthcoming. Dealer's are not charities, however much they may behave as if they are. And their customers, given an inch, will inevitably demand a mile.
Luckily I am not a dealer and have never been employed as such by a dealer, as I would feel like taking a baseball bat to some of you on the bad days. Or at least dumping that load of bits back on the customer's yard and telling him to sort it himself.

Not that I am for one minute putting the customer concerned here in that category. It is some of the other commentators that need to get real. I sympathise fully with the owner, having the damn thing out of action for the best part of the season while some desk-jockey won't commit to getting his finger out and sorting it.
As a matter of course, Emyr Evans supply courtesy tractors if yours is in their workshop, it might be an old 3655 but its a tractor and its there to be used. He might be more expensive, but that's how he keeps customers.

Ive been down there a few times lately trying to sort out some issues we have with them, hard work. Your tractor did look very sorry for itself :-(

Yea, nice to see it back in one piece and working...! I always think though that they'll never be the same.

That's not good enough for many any longer. They not only expect their hand to be held by the dealer but they want jam on top.
Not pointing at anyone in particular and, to be fair, certainly not the OP.

It has been fitted with a factory assembled replacement unit so it should be fine apart from the inevitable little teething problem to get it perfect.

Did anyone mention why it had failed? There must be a reason apart from bad luck
