We have a new position available for a shepherd / stockman to help us with our operation. We need someone to do the daily welfare checks and pasture moves and then when the other stock tasks need doing they will be joined by the rest of the team on the farm. Experience of working with sheep and beef cattle is required, the role will likely develop over the coming years as we start to stack more enterprises onto our grassland. This will be ideal for someone looking to develop in grassland farming. We have a good energetic young team of guys on the farm and host quite a few farm visits where information exchange is great. Housing will be provided with the role, although initially this wouldn’t be on farm as we are waiting for properties to come available.
