Other than prescription maps the fendt does everything I want.

I have 2 greenstar setups on the farm I manage and hate them both. They have to be the least user friendly setup I have seen. But hey it's jd so must be good.

So just had section control added to my vario terminal. Anyone know anything about it? I have some teething issues.

On the sprayer I can't populate where the boom is in relation to the drawbar pin as the box is greyed out on the vario terminal so won't allow me to populate these dimensions. Any thoughts.

The other one is with my Bogballe spreader sc (section control) won't actually turn on. I think this is a spreader software problem I am just about to update the spreader so shall see how I go. Shall update shortly on this one.

Is the sprayer ISOBUS? If so I would expect the dimensions to come from the sprayer ecu.

Yes it is. It's an aftermarket kit I have installed. Within it there is nowhere to put those dimensions in. Waiting on a call from raven to see if it needs to be programmed by laptop or something.

The jd display we have tried it on allowed us to populate the dimensions but fendt won't.

What Robt said... Get in touch with you dealer first off, who can then get in touch with Fendt or call the fuse helpline.

With most ISOBus implements it depends on the information that is in the machine ECU already and the compatibility between the machine and the terminal.

Some implements allow this option, some don't.

It also depends on the version of the "universal terminal" (UT) within the systems as different manufactures use different versions.

Thank you, Bye.

Yes have spoken to dealer. Have also spoken to the raven dealer as well as raven direct. Not called fuse yet but they weren't much help first time I called them.

Raven tell me that the control node does not have provision to change the dimensions but something is not allowing me to change the dimensions within the terminal. Can change equipment dimensions and offsets without any problem as long as they are not isobus.

The sprayer works perfectly well through the terminal while manually operating sections I just can't get it to adjust offsets to get section control working right. It does work perfect for the information it is currently using.

Richard,

I work with the AGCO Fuse team, please try the following steps.

Current solution:
  1. Set the standby time of the receiver to 0hr and 0min. This can be found on the Systeminfo screen.
  2. Switch off ignition
  3. Wait 40 seconds
  4. Try again
Please let us know if you need assistance with the above.

Regards

Richard,

Understood that you have the settings already set to zero as that would be the typical default settings.

Have you done this reset sequence above recently? It should resolve your issue as we have come across this exact same issue previously.

When possible give it a try it should put your settings back to how they were on Sunday.

Regards.

It works. Thank you for the the help. Did as you say and sc all works as it did on Sunday. Been spraying with it today and in integrates seamlessly with the sprayer. Excellent!

Now to the sprayer parameters. Is there any way within varioguide with an isobus implement to set up machine offsets etc. this box is currently greyed out. It seems to be spraying all the area today but we won't know if there is any misses until the weeds die.

Great to hear Richard, we have tried contacting you a few times but with no luck. Can you please call us when you have a chance? We would like to review some additional settings with you.
