Min 25 harvest 15 on group 1's non default, booked months ago before I decided what varieties I was planting

NEVER sell quality before you have it !!!!! If that contract is defaultable run a mile !

I can name 3 merchants who regularly post, all of which work for businesses directly connected to some of the big 5 multinational grain traders...

there's more that that even that I know of but I know x2 will quote no deflatable milling premiums, no idea if the others will

higher prems tend to be in the north Sonoftheheir, min £20 for west sufick is still a good way of under writing your milling varieties.

I don't believe it's quite as easy as Clive & others make out.
I think if you are known is a regular grower of GP 1 with good Storage & a good name it helps, as well as area, distance to mills and the likes.
The higher figures can come with upper limits, or at fixed rates.
Just saying.

Honest John. No "upper limit", no fixed rates (what ever that means). Move at harvest or just after if you don't have good storage. I suppose a good name is necessary for all business deals, who would want to do anything with a farmer with a bad name, and finally, yes, I would like regular G1 growers as they are the ones who tend to have experience with the crop, however everyone is welcome who feels they can give it a shot. Proximity and supply to the mills is a driving factor so yes, farms near Manchester/Liverpool will get stronger prems then a farm near Cambridge.

I don't have a big tonnage to sell each year either. But always go for milling spec.

I have put a good chunk in for £20 min for sep/oct no max,fix base and premium when I want.
