Charollais + Texel cross 42kg live at home £70.15 after deductions through lamb group to Scotbeef

How does that work?
At this time of the year ko % will be around than 45% depending on time of day weighed and diet, so around 18.5 dwt, a price of £3.90 dwt has not been possible for some weeks as far as I know.

I would guess dwt price next week will be close to £3.50 or less.

Base price up here is 3.65. For Charollais and Texel crosses would be U grade so an extra 10p/kg

Base of £3.55, 19.92kg, 92% E+U grades. These are all April born lambs grass fed where ewes receive no concentrates(crystalix blocks from early Feb).Oh and the ewes are mostly Charollais x Blackies(you know those hellish unmaternal Charollais!!!!).

In to ABP at Gt Harwood Thurs . with cows . They said they only had 70-80 to kill that day . Yard usually full , with a couple of deckers waiting outside to unload . Thought at first they had shut down with no action at all .
