Clive do you use your Plot filter as well ? I find it usefull in tidying up maps esp. when cutting around electric poles etc. it gives plots a silly yield figure when shunting about.

Yes I use filters to take out highs and lows that are clearly not right, produced far more accurate maps that way

the yield meter needs to be very accurate then if its to have any value in gatekeeper... And I assume like all lexion combines you cant record rape yeilds?

I record osr yields no problem

errors on any crop are easy proportionately corrected via GK, I do this against our weighbridge data, that said I never have really seen more than 5% error over the last 10 years of data which isn't bad really ??

Gatekeeper will it let you alter your own maps . Just getting fields scanned soil zoned, and then set up own zones as we'll where I know seed increase is needed. Agrii coming out to do this to start with , but I may want to alter maps my self later. I had to save field boundaries through green star on a USB stick +rpa maps .

A word of caution... When using the original method (importing the data from CLAAS folder) the data is taken and NOT copied so you loose the data from class. You need to backup first and then restore after your GK import so you don't loose it.

ah ha! Thanks Clive! I must admit Claas agro map start is very good software but gatekeeper has its uses only for outputs and keeping your records together...

Farmerfred,
You must be able to export data from an insight screen? Ask whoever fitted it. Leaving them on screen and god forbid it to fail would mean losing everything!
Its def possible I'm sure

I can back everything up to a card but can't see a way to put A-B line onto the card...

Many thanks Clive... will have a look :)
