Alerts not always working

@admin for some reason i do not always get alerts when new posts are made on threads that I watch.

For instance, a thread I maybe haven't been on in a few weeks seem to be very busy when I find it the usual way. When I view it it still has it registered as "watched" but the alerts just didn't come up.

Yes, but even then it does not always do it because when I find the thread myself it is highlighted as in to show I haven't read it but yet it did not come up in alerts.

The problem is it is almost impossible to pin down the problem, needle in a haystack job. Yesterday nearly 65,000 alerts were registered...

Have they been (temporarily) disabled?

My phone hasn't bleeped (not a single notification) once the last few days or more, yet there are plenty of alerts when I view via the website on laptop.

Ditto

No phone alerts but they are there when I view the sight on the laptop or iPad.

Using iPhone no alerts but in the tff app the notifications are there when I go look for them.
