He got a bargain then.
Why is it that if I go to a Sale either everything is knackered or New money or both and if I don't they nearly give things away :-(
Know exactly what you mean!
Needs to be plenty on the same day, in same area, with one drawing everyone there. BUT if you had gone, am sure he would have run that drill/ph a damn site further and then its not a cheap buy anymore.

When I've moaned about missing a bargain in the past at sales,Dad always says that if I'd have been there it wouldn't have been that cheap anyway. Oh well I'll have to keep looking.

Why was this kit so cheap??? generally doesn't look in to bad of condition... the prices achieved were ( from the sound of it ) only 1/2. 2/3rds what its actually worth... the Tractor is worth more like 18k, the drill combo is worth 2/2.5k and the telescopic is worth 6.5k for starters...

Cheffins vintage was on all day, same area. everyone was there!
Plus Hix arn't the best known firm in the world so don't advertise a huge amount either.
