Well I grew up shooting side by sides so it feels more natural for me, also I go on some quite big days (200/300 birds) and I find I can't get cartridges in an over and under fast enough as you have to open it further. But with Eley VIP 32g 5s high pheasants were a doddle.

I have collection miroku 3800's
Grade 1,3,5 trap
Grade 3,5 sporter
They are all now worth at least £100-200 more than I paid for them
Better than money in the bank
Guys one reasonably priced also..
Grade 5's not easy to come by in mint cond.

Can't beat 3800's looking for a 32" grade 3 or 5 with knackard wood as have exhibition grade wood here for one and my current one is getting a bit tired,

would you sell the wood???
I also have 2 sets 3,5 wood
My favourite gun that I won lot money, competitions and also my current gun ( browning heritage ) with is the grade 1 3800 trap that's been sporterised but still 3/4 and full choke
I bought my 3800 grade 5 sporter which is 30" hoping to change barrels round but they won't fit.

If I'm honest any shoot that frowns on over and unders is one I wouldn't go on ! I hate pretentiousness.
When I joined a syndicate few years back got invited to some rough days pre season to see what it was like and if they liked me, thought I'd try out my new to me semi auto was suggested when the season kicks off perhaps bring my o/u.
But that was more on safety grounds.

Sorry nick I wouldn't as it is bent for me and 15.1/4 long in wood with no pad, and it would be Sod's law that what I am after would turn up if I let the wood go, I do have a Alan Rhone adjustable stock for a long tang 3800 which could go.
My current 3800 which I use for most stuff is a 32" with long teague chokes and shoot 3/4 and 7/8 all the time you just have to beak the closer stuff!!
