Heard a story today that a large farmer in this area has bought the gold coloured tractor. Rather him than me.:D

Heard that a few weeks ago, from my source in the know, it would be right enough.
Will indeed go with the 50 anniversary Scania, have to say his standard paint job on the artics is pretty smart, and the gold one while OK is no better.

The gold paint on the T6160 won't have cost as much extra as the Scania special edition did though.
Probably helps if you buy an extra combine around the same time.:unsure:

Aye @oil barron your new tractor is famous. Your bro couldn't be arsed taking the weights off! (Its the t6.175 nearest the camera in the second last photo for the rest of you. The tractor doesn't suit the gold paint. Money wasted i would say.

Did spot that. The sellar headstock goes back to where it once came from. Should have taken the 76 down. Saw on book face you were fair impressed with the vario.

Poor mans rig is what was the Hutton tlp.
Top sides are a rig in Russia and the legs were on route to the Gulf of Mexico. Broke the toe on several occasions and ended up in the Cromarty firth.
The owners pay three months harbour dues in advance on the button and it just lies there.
All very strange.

W.T.F ! Are you still drying grain?

:( yep, at work drying for their neighbour, young boss has gone to Tenerife and muggins here is the 1 left lying under it in the pissing rain putting the belt back on . Back drying at home too for other people and storing it till a boat comes next month. Only good thing is getting a go of this R series, 6150 autopower with 42" wheels :woot:. Cab is huge(y). Only gripe would be the info screen is tiny. Quite impressed.

Its stuff that had been under water and didn't go for malting, its about 16.5% so not too bad. It was so dusty when it was cut the combine ended up swallowing a strainer that had washed in with the floods. Brand new Tucano.

Been rather quiet here lately, too bloody wet to anything as its been raining for weeks. So I have been checking over and servicing the clay traps, all good apart from a stuck gearbox, further investigation revealed a failed gasket and seized bearings. My brother has claimed half the workshop and turned it into a spray booth.

Gearbox stripped down, stupid French thing with a 9mm shaft so had to order bearings (bearings £2 each, new gearbox £250 )

Brothers F2 painted in Mf chassis grey, tinwork is going to be Deutz green.
