If you want to know about nightmare stories do a little research into the Midwales windfarm inquiry. Majority of the info is from anti's though.

My council tax is funding it too! 3 million its cost the council so far, i hate to think what the bill is for the companies involved.

Some people got way too much time on their hands. At the end of the day they probably got a nice pension paid for by selling(or miss selling) something that has done damage to someone somewhere. They could have a invested in a company that has drill for oil on someones doorstep but that ok cause they don't know or care about it! But someone wants to put an investment on their doorstep and they're up in arms FFS its been passed at planning if you don't like it FECK OFF and buy you chocolate box holiday home in Siberia!

the site is 200 acres they are taking 4.5 Ha for the initial build then the tracks pads and turbines will use about 1.5 Ha the field in the picture is 28 acres I would guess its about 600m between the two but not sure I will ask the contractors on Monday to look on the CAD drawings and let you know

Thats a shame I have 5 hectares in a long narrow strip and was looking forward to 5 big turbines. That said the planners here have managed to refuse everything in excess of 50kw and that was before the change in rules giving them even more powers.
