Yep, the wet one's got a bucket on, the burning one has a grab. Two unrelated machines I think?
Never say never.Should have let it go. You never want a fire damaged machine back!
I don't know. It was posted on Twitter by a Kiwi I follow but I'm guessing that is in the USA?jp what did they have on front when pulling it out

I remember hearing about that. Didn't they have to whack each one with a big bar to set the airbags off before they went in the crusher?A sea of brand new Mazda MX-5's awaiting the crusher having been aboard the MC Couger Ace. 4,700 cars were on board most came off undamaged but Mazda decided to scrap them all.

Had similar many years ago with a yard full of Renault Dauphines at Southampton docks that they couldn't shift. After a bit they started to rust, and were scrapped, but I think that they sent the engines and transmissions back to France.
Surely they'll save some of the mechanical parts on these?

Testing each car to make sure it was totally unaffected by the list would take all of the margin out of each sale, as well as age each car. Better to claim off the shipping company - the cost of destruction, too!Yep you'r dead right, have a look at this video. Personally it makes me sick to see them trashing perfectly good cars, but even worse going to the trouble of drilling holes the tyres. Then they ask us to recycle and reuse things.

Oh I know why thy did it, but you would have thought items like tyres could have been reused or sold on.
Accountability and legality. Had a few similar situations (albeit on a FAR smaller scale) when I worked at the Jag/Mazda/Volvo garage. Some customers would have the factory tyre replaced with those of their choice but the removed tyres had to be disposed of. Madness!Oh I know why thy did it, but you would have thought items like tyres could have been reused or sold on.
