Until recently didn't realise that grinding disks have an expiry date.
Also how many use there grinders for all the wrong things. Ir metal disks on wood and so forth

Odd how differently we view this pic. I just wondered if his tetinus was up to date and what he had been grinding. The initial cut is not the problem, it is the microscopic bits of whatever was stuck to the disc that will be the problem, and what would be the best treatment plan.

Too many years of being a nursey...sorry!

If a genuine picture. That was my thoughts too.

I know of a fella that rolled and crashed his scimitar gte in a nasty accident nearly 30 years ago.
Still to this day, he gets the odd itch and scratch, then a strand of fibreglass appears from under the skin.

Did the back of my hand with a plasma disc, 32 stiches and no feeling in my finger and thumb is not ideal, hit the artery aswell, taking a selfie would not of been my first idea.

My Godfather had one go up 40+ years ago in a modern garage with an up and over door. As a kid I was enthralled watching two fire appliances scream up the drive (Bedford TK 's with Angus bodywork....).

White hat jumps out, straight up to the metal door with flames flicking under , grabs the handle and jumps back "Ouch that's hot" :ROFLMAO::rolleyes::ROFLMAO:

There was nothing left of it in the garage

In over 30 years of fettling, I have only ever had 1 disc go on me and you know they are going before they go, correct procedure is to drop to your knees and pray to allah with grinder in out stretched arms flat to the ground, that way when it goes it can only go away from you

He could be really unlucky and it could have ricocheted into his chin

I thought it has to be fake to be so composed to take a pic but too many details look kosha - the wonders of adrenaline. 15 minutes of internet fame? Any takers?
I was thinking that. Blood looks a bit too pinky. I could probably whip up a latex prosthetic if I really felt like it. But really... OW OW OW OWWWWWWW!

Why drop to your knees?
I've had a few go but never come clean off usually just a chunk out of the disc.
