Often have to take hay or straw out to horsey folks, but after 25 yrs of milking, these days we have croissants in bed reading papers from sat or on tff until ten, in summer unless its busy often head for the beach or go for a walk. Off to see my daughter and her little family today, my little grandaughter will put a big smile on my face

From July to November its usually work but always try and finish in good time. This time of year its trials biking if there's a trial on, if not its trials bike practice! Then normally big Sunday feed at the gf's or its Sunday dinner at my parents then round to my grans for the afternoon. Not often Sunday is a quiet day!
Always early to bed Sunday night!

As little as possible, an hour am and pm, at the moment a run in the morning and then day doing things with the family unless something NEEDS doing on the farm. In summer look round AM (hour at most) then go to a dog trial or spend the day with the family or both at the same time if its nice.

Winter time all the normal dairy jobs but usually essential routine only. Church if I can make it, services irregular but on PCC so normally there well in advance, coffees etc to do afterwards and one of last to leave so a long slot. Afternoon often doing odd jobs like fill the bird feeders, might take my camera out round the farm for an hour or so, gardening etc. Summer we often host farm walks for Sunday afternoons. Usually cook a Sunday roast or some salmon, for evening, or in summer a lunchtime or evening BBQ. Currently doing some lecturing on Mondays so last minute notes being prepared on Sundays!
