Making a hydraulic loader

How would I go about making a loader hydraulically controlled just the bucket part to make the moving of bales and cleaning of dung easier.

I want to be able to leave my old tractor on the out farm instead of going back and fort with the newer tractor

You need to talk to your local mechanic, if they are helpful?
You will need at least one hydraulic ram to suit any brackets that might be on your loader already? You will also need a double handle valve chest. One handle for main loader and one handle for the new ram. Plus piping, so it can get expensive if you buy everything new. Best to look around for suitable used items, if available.

Yes, that sounds about right and you will probably not get that back at any stage when changing. Good idea to change the loader, if you could find one that fitted. All the issues would be ironed out for you.

My father did something similar some 25 years ago.
I added a drawing (yeah it's sh!t but bear with me). As you can see with a little extra effort parralel leveling is added (the red). It was all a bit sloppy because al the mountings where basicly bolts in a big hole but it did the job for 15 years on 2 tractors. The great thing about parralel leveling is that you also get added capacity.

I also Made a tanco trip one fully hydrolic use it for carting round bales from away ground with the trailer as can have it in and still tow the trailer with front bale ladders removed. For bales it's as good as a loaded with bucket or folk it's ok but not ideal
