I’ve been getting chilblains in my feet last and this winter, swapped from puroforts to my chammies which helped a bit but still having issues, have tried thick socks/ multiple pairs of normal socks but still seem to get them.

are thermal boots any good for helping? Or any other suggestions that might help?

I take Ginko tablets - improve blood flow, bit odd I know, but don't get chilblains provided I remember to take them....

I always get them worse on my hands but a bit on my feet too if I'm standing about at scanning time for example. I just keep my hands moisturised and wait for them to fk off, about all you can do.

Used to get them bad with Nora wellies, now have 2 pairs insulated skellerup, wear one pair every other day to let them dry. Gone up a size wear normal socks with really thick socks over the top. Very rarely get them any more.

Snowfire ointment good to relieve the pain and itching.

I used to get chilblains bad around my ears but not for a few years now . Isn't it reckoned to be calcium deficiency or some such . . They used to reckon that alcohol was good for drying them up .

Just to follow the above Yes alcohol is reckoned to be good but I suspect it's supposed to be administered externally , although , having said that I don't suppose a good slug internally would do any harm either !

uddermint soothes irritation in evenings, keep changing socks through day, hair dryer boots dry once a day, wear next size up boots in colder weather, after that it seems put up with them, I hate them, a pain in the winter months
