All pit silage and Keenan is quicker for pit silage and what was available 2nd hand in good condition. Kuhn is good for bales but is slower at mixing than a Keenan if using just pit silage.
I'm looking for a feeder for chopping beet , straw and wagon silage , the Keenans are too slow with beet. How many cattle were you feeding and have you got it from new.

Bought it at 2 year old. Its been mainly feeding youngstock and sheep. 2 loads a day for cattle through the winter and an extra one for the sheep from Jan - Mar. Not been over worked.
