Kverneland disc harrows

Kverneland disc harrows trailed, cover approx. 4.5metres, hydraulic folding for transport on hydraulic axle also, in good working order straight from work of a small mixed farm, have a few spare bearings also included in the sale.
They are a great tool in ley fields to help plough bury the turfs and also good for reseeds in fields not suited to ploughing.

How worn are the discs and how heavy are they compared to say a set of Parmiter Utah discs?

If I am honest I don't know what the discs are like when new, I will go and measure them for you if that helps, they are fairly heavy, they cut in well when its dry I would so 5-6 tons, no idea how heavy parmiter are, they are fairly strong anyway!

They are 18" - 19" approx. I measured 10 or a dozen, only selling due to lack of power and grip buying a tulip vario, only have 140hp, hope this helps

So would 160 hp be enough going 1 inch deep?

No problem at all in corn stubbles, grass or maize stubble, where we are struggling is on sludge on ley fields in front of plough and in fields behind potatoes pre ploughing! We can pull it 2-3 inches in corn stubbles with 140hp.
