Is this a good mix for overseeding a permanent grass field which is knackered?

Yes, good proportion of the mix is tetraploids so it will get up and going pretty quickly.

When do you think is the optimum time to do overseeding, without ploughing or anything, thinking of using someone with a wox grassmaster, whats peoples opinions on success rates and best timings for this!

Friend of mine locally has just bought one, his seed was delivered this week and I think he was going in the next week or two, just waiting on a bit of rain.

What I've seen (YouTube) and what he's told me it seems to be a very capable machine.

Work well from what I've seen but moisture is most important as seed is pressed in on top of soil
I've done some with my contraption its struck well and currently have ewes in to graze off regrowth from existing to let light in down 16 days ago

You can't sell grass that lasts longer than 5 years or you get no repeat custom . I would think it would last forever with perfect management but some where in-between in the real world.

I think they look good. We've never had any success with overseeding, but we need to do about 40 acres.

The guttler roller makes a lot of sense,
