Have you used the drill this Autumn ? would like to see the results as I don't know much about the moore. We have been looking for a second hand simtech to test the water into direct drilling but they all sell for a lot more than our budget so something like this may be worth a look. Where abouts in Cheshire are you?

Yes I have drilled OSR, barley and covers with the drill this autumn all no till. We are not far from Nantwich.
Here are some photos. OSR into chopped w barley straw and barley after s beans.

What are the drill spacing's any good for grass seeds
You need to sow at half rate, then drill again at a good angle to first pass. Makes a lovely job.

I'd really like a this(y), but it's too far away, and asking for the foreseeable.

Thanks. Never used it much for grass seed. Personally I prefer to broadcast with pneumatic fert spreader, but good tool for stitching in clover post silaging.
