New Ursus tractor range - looking good!

Just been checking out the new tractors being offered by Ursus and I like what I see!

They look to be of good quality and made of proven parts. Euro 3A Perkins engines will be familiar to all, as will the Bosch hitch control. They are also 40KPH which has been markedly lacking from a number of other budget marque's tractors.

Something else that has been lacking is style - something which this new range has in spades!

Have any Irish or Continental TFFers tried one out, yet?

Don't often hear a bad word about them when they were in front line service. They rather lacked the good looks of their younger relatives, though!

Might have to pop over to Portlaoise for the day and try one out!
are they being sold in Portlaoise , don't know if they are sold in france , zetor have a very small garage here , not doing them any good

They need an engine update in the first instance. Is the transaxle a standard Cararro unit?
will the engine be ok to do a normal days work for most normal farmers i am not talking about contractors that do 1.5k h a year , i see a tractor mf with loader on here yesterday 27 years old with 3600h on it ,

Yes I agree, but they seem to think the smaller 4 cylinder (Perkins) will be more of a seller, especially as they are pushing them as a loader tractor. Like everything else, the devil will be in the detail and only time will tell.
