Hi just wondering why it was taken off the road? Are there any major issues with it? Is it 4 or 5 speed?

Had a 305 estate back in the day. Most comfortable seats in any car I have ever driven. Thought the clutch had gone but turned out to be the cable adjuster unscrewing itself, had the bearings in the rear suspension collapse though. There are two box sections run under the boot which rotted away causing its demise!

5 speed. No issues. And old lad had a small market garden and parked it up as he had his licence revoked as was going blind. And was dry garaged and when he had his sale had been parked for 4 years. It's very sound has had a different bonnet as they rot out on fold on front edge Had a problem with fuel changed filter head / lift pump. As it was leaking Original plan was 9 tde dropped in it and pimped up but extra 1400 for my lad to be on insurance has killed the idea Every thing works has original radio and seats like new. Even has 70.s retro Hoover in back been using that in tractor If you want it. 450 will buy it or will test it and it will try it at cheffins vintage sale

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Money a bit tight this time of year and been wrestling with my heart and head. Does the engine run clean and not smokey? You do have the V5? I would like to come have a look / probably take it away at some time. Is this weekend any good?
