Unfortunately we are too far away but how are you pricing and operating the hire of the subsoiler?

It's a tricky one wherever wearing metal is involved. To make it fair to everyone as soils abrasiveness vary so much. I'm currently on £125/day + metal. Don't make out on the metal. So far so good. Just have to be clear on the wear before and after. Why you ask??

I'd be interested in trying a low disturbance subsoiler in an arable situation and had not heard of anyone hiring them out before.

As ive said, going to keep it purely for grass....for now anyway...see how it goes.
Do agree, looking at the job it makes it would make a great drill.

Defo a market opening for a low disturbance sub-soiler for the min/no till guys.....all in good time! :)

Doing it yourself and hiring things out are two totally different things! We never treat a machine the same when we don't own it. That goes for id say 99% of us. [emoji53]
