Unfortunately we are too far away but how are you pricing and operating the hire of the subsoiler?

It's a tricky one wherever wearing metal is involved. To make it fair to everyone as soils abrasiveness vary so much. I'm currently on £125/day + metal. Don't make out on the metal. So far so good. Just have to be clear on the wear before and after. Why you ask??

I'd be interested in trying a low disturbance subsoiler in an arable situation and had not heard of anyone hiring them out before.

Tbh I am keeping it strictly for use on grassland for now. I would think it would get far more abuse if used on arables???

Keep it for the specialist job that it's designed for.

We have done a good few Arable jobs with our one makes a great job

Doing it yourself and hiring things out are two totally different things!We never treat a machine the same when we don't own it. That goes for id say 99% of us. [emoji53]

Both hired out & doing it ourselves , If damaged when on hire they pay for it.

Do you change legs/feet for arable? What do you put yours out at? Is it a 4 leg auto reset?

No same legs & feet as in grass, 5 leg auto reset, £120 per day + metal

Yes we spot weld the points on at the top.

Got a set of arable legs for mine , does a cracking job on stubble ground , keep the grass legs just for grass
