Workshop builds

I dont think those who seem to do the cut n shut jobs on trailers are likely to put the pictures up for all to see are they, some terrible builds around here, built from anything and everything. Draw bars seem to be just an added bit welded onto any old transit tipper body(n) I am not on about complete builds of quiality kit, But even so when a manufacturer has to apply standards, and safety into design, it seeems any tom dick or harry can get aways with an accidentwaiting to happen.

Most farm build/projects I see appear sound enough. 'Farming types' generally have an appreciation of engineering requirements. Must be careful not to discourage innovation as that's the starting point for most farm kit. It's those jokers with home made car trailers that worry me, bald tyres, bad lights and wobbly wheels at 50mph lugging junk to the local tips! Are they outside the tiresome grip of the VOSA muppets?
