Job Description
Duties to include:

To process documents and data relating to payroll, expenses and accounts payable, in an accurate and timely manner, and in line with AHDB policies and processes
Provide assistance with queries relating to payroll and expenses/staff credit cards, and accounts payable (invoices, payments)
Assist with the preparation of payment runs
Provide support with ongoing projects which could include collaborative working with other functions across the organisation
To work with the Facilities Team to ensure that the company car details are updated and submitted to HMRC (Payroll position only)
Provide assistance to other finance staff, as appropriate, ensuring the smooth running of the AHDB Finance Department
Carry out general administrative duties within the Finance department, such as filing, distribution of post, photocopying and archiving
Ensure all work is carried out in the strictest of confidence and in line with GDPR requirements

Future prospects
Potential progression towards a permanent post following a successful apprenticeship. The roles are within a finance team consisting of several teams, so there may be opportunities in the future to gain breadth and development within the wider finance function.
