What’s involved; As part of the farming community, you are invited by BASF to an innovative event to launch the new cereal fungicide, Revystar® XE. Eight events will be held throughout the UK, bringing farmers together to discusstheirchallengesand plans forspring 2020. Our Shropshire event will take place at the RAF Museum Cosford, which is dedicated to the Royal Air Force and the history of aviation. Hosted byfarmer and Nuffield Scholar, Andrew Williamson, the day will also bejoined byfourth-generationfarmerJulian Radcliffe. Farmers involved in BASF’s Real Results Circle will share their field trial results from using Revystar® XE on their farms last spring. You’ll hear first-hand how they gotonand what they thought. Soil health expert, Professor Jenni Dungait will also be giving her advice on how to manage soils following the wet conditions, and ADAS will share their independentresearchinto Revystar® XE‘sperformance.

11.15 Morning session: A Farmer Focus Andrew Williamson, Farmer Andrew will give an overview of the farm business, the challenges faced in 2019, new innovations introduced to improve yield, his Nuffield Scholarship and experience with on-farm trials. Julian Radcliffe, Farmer Farming in Wales, Julian will offer an insight into their family-owned mixed enterprise which puts technology at the forefront with varaible rate P & K, yield mapping and variable rate seed application. In 2019 he successfully pushed for increased barley yields after attending the BASF Innnovation Tour to New Zealand. Prof. Jenni Dungait, Soil Health Expert A look at soil remediation and health, and how to deal with compaction and wet weather following the high rainfall this winter.

14.00 Afternoon session: Revystar® XE David Griffiths, Agonomy Manager, BASF The local recommendation for Revystar® XE Chloe Morgan, ADAS The independent view – a look at their trials across the UK, and locally with Revystar® XE. Dr. Jon Helliwell, Agronomy Manager, BASF The technical story behind the fungicide Revystar® XE, what can it do for your crops and why the industry is so excited by this new innovative solution. Andrew Williamson, Farmer A first-hand experience with Revystar® XE on the ground looking at Andrew‘s 2019 wheat trial, his programme and the results.

The Venue

Cosford RAF Museum was established as a legacy of the RAF’s fiftieth anniversary. The collection includes over 1.3 million objects, many of which are exclusively on display at Cosford. From tanks and planes to cars, engines and torpedo's – there is something for all interests.

The Museum is free of charge so you are welcometo take in someof the aircrafts before the roadshow event, or during lunch. If you would like to take homea little momento, every delegate will receive a 50% off voucher for the shop!

The Real Results Roadshow event will take place in the conference room, located next to the museum.

Road – Cosford RAF Museum is centrally located with good motorway access. The Museum is only thirty minutes from the centre of Birmingham and ten minutes from Telford. From the south leave M6 at junction 10a. From the north leave M6 at junction 12 and follow A5 west. Follow the brown tourism direction signs to RAF Museum.
