Hi there, I am looking to rent some land in West Sussex for an animal sanctuary. 10/15 acres, grazing, woodland would be amazing, have 4 equines so stables or potential to build stables... I have done up and sold multiple properties in the past, but I'm looking to make a more substantial investment and take advantage of ag IHT relief.
About 150 acres of land, 120 of which is farmland with two small houses is up for sale near me. Listed for 2mil, but price has already decreased once so I'm guess it will go for less.

What I am looking for
I am currently looking for lakes/ponds which are ideally about 6ft deep for the production of carp.
The water would need to be over 1 acre ideally however if you have several lakes or ponds this could work.
This would be on a 2 year cycle growing the fish on to then sell in to the fishing trade for restocking in to commercial Fisheries or specimens waters.

I live in the Croston, Leyland area, and I was wondering if there is a scrappy piece of land near to where I live that I could turn over so that I could use it. I would like to turn it into a piece of agricultural land which I can use for my attempts at a self-sustaining lifestyle. I don't have a lot of money by any means but I'm willing to do anything to prove myself as worthy for such an asset.
There appears to be very little land on sale in the North East. I'm really struggling to find something.
I'm not sure if I'm looking at the right places?
Ideally I'd like from 6-15 acres.
It would be for 6 horses.

I'm looking to rent a small area, probably no more than half and acre, to erect a couple of commercial polytunnels. to grow chillis, peppers etc. Not sure how much would be a decent rent... I'd also want to put 3-4 100 litre water containers, to collect rain water. Unless the land has a supply i could tap into and obviously contribute towards. The idea is to sell at markets, farmers markets car boot etc.
Anyone got an idea as to a decent rental amount... South Northamptonshire.
