Hi there, I am looking to rent some land in West Sussex for an animal sanctuary. 10/15 acres, grazing, woodland would be amazing, have 4 equines so stables or potential to build stables... Please get in touch with any info on anything, even if it may not seem suitable we are open to options! Would be greatly appreciated! Equestrian yards up for sole use could work too, Thank you :)
Due to cutting our own herd back to only breeding stock, we will have cattle grazing for up to 150 head of suckler cows or around 300 head of youngstock. Can only offer it for this year, at the moment. Open to discussing options on what stock we take and how we charge e.g. per head/day or kg/DLWG. Ideally TB4 cattle. DM me to discuss.
Hi all. First post, non farmer so please bare with me a bit. I have done up and sold multiple properties in the past, but I'm looking to make a more substantial investment and take advantage of ag IHT relief. About 150 acres of land, 120 of which is farmland with two small houses is up for sale near me. Listed for 2mil, but price has already decreased once so I'm guess it will go for less. I'm of the opinion the two houses could be renewed and sold for 400-500k each, or possibly let...
I'd like to get a real world value for my smallholding as I don't believe the several auctioneers we've asked over the years are anywhere close to the truth. Here are the details: •Seven acres of VERY heavy clay, meaning the field is unusable for six months of the year •Rusty old three-bay Dutch barn with part of the roof missing and a rough stone floor •Lean-to with three walls, half the floor concrete, other half earth •Lean-to with open sides and stone floor •Stone yard, stone lane...
I have a 1 acre plot available in the village of Mumby near Alford, lincs. Suitable for storing caravans, trailers or horse boxes etc. with access from the road down a track. Inquiries by email please. Thanks
What I am looking for I am currently looking for lakes/ponds which are ideally about 6ft deep for the production of carp. The water would need to be over 1 acre ideally however if you have several lakes or ponds this could work. This would be on a 2 year cycle growing the fish on to then sell in to the fishing trade for restocking in to commercial Fisheries or specimens waters. The fish would be cropped each year and I am happy to maintain the water in which they are being produced. I...
Hi, I'm wanting to start running some of my own sheep, about 20 or so to get me started. Living and working in Selby at the moment so needs to be in that area or nearby if possible. Think I need about 5 acres but doesn't necesserily need to be one big patch, don't think I can afford to buy but happy to rent if I can find something. Cheers.

Young guy looking to start on own in farming. Currently only renting 6 acres but looking to expand on cattle. Any size of land wanted in South Hampshire. Thanks Luke 07714034698
Hi I’m looking for a local farmer near York/selby area or maybe further, who has a unused lake on there land that they will be willing to lease to a young angler, to be used as a carp fishery. With the most prolific lake in york closing down (Q lake pool bridge) this is a fantastic opportunity to get all the left anglers on a new lake and fishing in there back garden again, I know majority of these lads and could get them as new members. I know it’s alot to ask and every anglers dream, but...
Guys I own a small holding in South Guildford. The felds next to me have come up for sale. The farmer wants around £18-20k acre which seems a bit steep .I didn't want to purchase the fields but worried they may get into irresponsible hands. One field has no direct road access(accesses via sewage works) . Will this affect its value? The other field has a right of way past the water works. WIll that effect its value? What im trying to understand is how much does direct access from a public...

Good afternoon all. I’ve got the remains of (what I believe was) a building on my land. Talking to those who know the area better than I, I’m told that the structure was a cow shed / barn. The structure must be over one hundred years old. If I wanted to confirm this, who’d be the best person to confirm what the structure was? An architect, historian, Thanks in advance for your help
Looking for a parcel of land to train/ walk dogs on , doesn’t have to be a feild, small woodland would also be great. As close to Dereham as possible Willing to pay good money for the right bit. thanks!
Hello Landowners, I live in the Croston, Leyland area, and I was wondering if there is a scrappy piece of land near to where I live that I could turn over so that I could use it. I would like to turn it into a piece of agricultural land which I can use for my attempts at a self-sustaining lifestyle. I don't have a lot of money by any means but I'm willing to do anything to prove myself as worthy for such an asset.
There appears to be very little land on sale in the North East. I'm really struggling to find something. I'm not sure if I'm looking at the right places? Ideally I'd like from 6-15 acres. It would be for 6 horses. Any advice would be appreciated. Or if anyone is selling I'm a cash buyer 😀
Hi there I'm looking to rent a small area, probably no more than half and acre, to erect a couple of commercial polytunnels. to grow chillis, peppers etc. Not sure how much would be a decent rent... I'd also want to put 3-4 100 litre water containers, to collect rain water. Unless the land has a supply i could tap into and obviously contribute towards. The idea is to sell at markets, farmers markets car boot etc. Anyone got an idea as to a decent rental amount... South Northamptonshire.
