Not many ,be either Balfors or Clancy Docra do their work ,,they work pretty quick
1/2 inch connection is standard for domestic but that has nothing to do with the pipe size and you would normally use 3/4 or larger.I don't think any water would come out of the end of 800 metres of half inch pipe.
Would think this will be thrust bored , it is the licence that will cost may well be over £750Bit concerned after a call today which suggested that AW would need a week to dig 60m under the road. Wonder how many cups of tea will be consumed?
Then they are taking the p155 as if you've put your pipe in and there pipe is same side of road they told me £180. That's for new connection to my new shed
Cheap!! If you catch the alkathene feed in on there side of the meter with a digger bucket tooth it will be almost as much....don't ask me how I know!Anglian water wanted £1200 +vat just to dig a hole and make the conection,,pipe ran straight down a field side and mains pipe was on the same side so nothing complicated
