Grease gun

I looked at a speedy one but you need two hands I like the pistol ones as half the time you have to hold something right to get at nipple! That sounds wrong
Can't say have issue as all things I just use magnet on part the machine but has a brilliant end rarely have to hold it.
Said before speedy grease is the one threw across the yard
Why never yet had issue with it once got it Sussed getting good seal on some cartridges as never tighten it hard just so bites on tabs not rips past them

Pretty much the same idea as the Fuchs grease gun, but I could not find the gun, even though I visited two of the nearest JD dealers in the area. They sell the grease cartridges, but they don't have the guns. I get the impression that JD will phase the system out, hence why I did not go for it.

Our bog standard C. K. has lasted years, despite being run over. I always fill with loose grease - no air pockets, no problem.

Those that blame the tool do not know how to use it.
Sure, however, no matter what you do, you eventually end up with an air bubble/lock. You can prevent this by keeping the cartridges upright and so forth, but that's not so easy when you take the grease gun with you in the tractor. I can fix air bubbles/locks, but sometimes it takes me a few seconds and sometimes it takes minutes. Life is too short to faff about like that when there are better alternatives around, in my opinion.

Speedygrease.

Reckon we've put about 200 cartridges through our 4, never had a single airlock or leak or mess. You can use them single handed very easily with the magnet. Anyone who doesn't get on with them, send them to me, could do with a few more!

Am glad I'm not the only one who has trouble with grease guns, got a new sparex one and new cartridges, on doing the baler all great till 80% used then air lock and end up wasting the last part of the tube!no better the next tube! Thought it was only me who got this problem!

Get a Fuchs.
If it was £150 it would still be worth it as it is so much easier and cleaner to use!

It's no faff. Barely any slower than swapping a cartridge. Never get air pockets, either, as I fill with a butter knife.

Gaffer is very old school here with his grease big bucket and sucks grease out into gun.
Did have a mishap some years ago when he left a digger on a job and some dairy heifers licked the grease bucket until it was empty!!!
Old grease gun not sure of the make but it's years old!

Seems to be a lot of air lock problems, some on cheap guns some on the expensive ones :/ who when loading them leaves the plunger handle out and pushes it in manually or who twists it off the clip, pushes it in so the spring does the work, is every 1 on cartridges or some still on buckets of grease
