I was expecting interesting telehandler stuff!!!
@Clive i use one in canada im working on bringing some back with me to the uk im working with the mfg of the chemhandlers to give me the import lincence there is one pewrson bringing them into the uk but its not the right way of doing it the mfg here has not oked it
but there great peices of kit once you have one you will not ever want to use the one on your sprayer again supper fast loading

I would just say, try the knife system out for yourself before you buy. We have a Handler IV and our guys aren't that keen on using the knife. A neighbour had one on their bowser and they replaced the knife with a second rinse nozzle.
I think if you've got a guy on a bowser they should really well because you can mix up a batch before the sprayer arrives. 800 l/min should give a fast turn around.
I still really want to know if you can get away with sending cans in for recycling with the caps and foils still on. I did ask the people we normally send our recycling to and they said you couldn't. I may ask again though because it should be that the foils have been triple rinsed and are therefore non-hazardous waste.

Do you have any tricks with the knife? Do you rest the cans on the point and then push down, or do you slam it down? Also, how do you get around the knife pushing the plastic up at the bottom making it difficult to get the scum and last dregs out the bottom? TIA.
The knife system looks like it could introduce foreign debris into the hopper from the exterior base of cans, also looks like it has a splashback risk by the force the operator is slamming the can down onto the knife.

Our cans are generally pretty clean because they're stored and used in an indoor sprayer filling shed. The splash risk is a problem (although we've hardly used it yet so no real experience). If you bang a can down and you think it hasn't punctured, but actually it has a bit - you then lift it up which can then spill chemical outside the tank. Hoedown glyphosate cans are virtually bulletproof and this is what happened when I tested one of these.
best may is to slam the can as hard as you can with in reason of course the slower you use force the more risk of splash back
as for getting the cans clean if your not you cant have very good pressure of water I use a 2 inch water pump flat out these will not work drawing it through with the sprayer
the water should be hitting to top of the puncherd can pretty hard and wash them out perfect with quick tap of the can on the side of the handler to get the final drips out
