yes its not a bad shed probably 60 years old now we put it up second hand about 20 years ago on a budget, hence the re used crittal panels and second hand tin!
It was in the middle of a 100 acre block we bought and saved us carting the corn 8 miles home although wasnt really long enough as the wheat was soon out of the door, I got 300 tonne in it once.
Has no electric, funny enough we put it right on top of the hill so we could use the power lines that passed behind but a year after finishing it the took down the poles!! Although that has meant the views are pretty good. ( I will get some pictures)
As far as plans go I will try to get them on here if anyone is interested but basically 4-5 bed open to roof at front where the old doors will be glazed.
I appreciate we have been very lucky and as we didnt think we would get it, it has financially caught us on the hop as far as planning for it went but its an opportunity we cant ignore and as farming is on lean times we will turn builders as well for a while.

Yes keeping frame and using it where we can but alot of it will just be built in. Best thing we did was get a local structural engineer to draw up the plans he might not have been a top architect but has done a nice job and every time the planners questions something he can come back with a qualified answer with out us having to pay extra for a structural engineer. Also he has saved us alot by using existing floor. We will insulate and skim.
It might be famous last words but the plans that went in have quite a few windows, veluxes and an additional big window and the planners seem happy.
I am sure it cant continue though

Hoping to not have to sell, me or parents might move there its 8 miles from main farm and in middle of 100 acre block. Hoping in time to put up a biggish grainstore there to make it a bit of a farm as we do contracting on another 200 acres in the same village. He has no storage so if I can get a bit of security or a fbt I might be able to use the extra storage.

yes you are right but I think there are ways around it. I was thinking I could sell a bit of land to myself under another name ( possibly ltd) then put it up on that. I did consider it but the gain was more than the risk of no shed.

Did this the other morning . we are taking it down in stages as it went up although it feels like it's slower it's much tidier and in the long term as quick I think.
