Hello everyone, doing a little personal research.
I'm interested in seeing how common Kubota tractors are on farms or small holdings. For those that have them and/or use them, what are your overall impression of them.

Not in the UK but a lot have been sold around here. I'm in the middle of 3 farms (all touching) which have Kubotas. I've got a 7040 with a loader and it's brilliant, Done 875 hrs in 17mths and the only spanners laid on it has been to change filters and widen the the wheel track.
Just needs a counter weight on the back when doing loader work. :):)(y)

I have a 1985 one here, not sure of the number, and a 1990 diesel mower. Both are very reliable, and we've just bought 3 new MK5000s to put on the yard scrapers.
May buy a 150 HP one next year, to replace a Case.

Expensive to repair and if other manufacturers put 5 items into a frame space, they will have 9 or 10.
So repairs bills increase especially on the smaller ones, not much big stuff from them here, yet.

Good brakes on the vacuum tanker then ..................

They are compact tractors ,so no room to put anything ,all compacts are like that .

We had an M130x on demo a few years ago, and a M110 GX with a loader on demo just before Christmas. Both seemed like good tractors and would do all the jobs the we need to do on a dairy farm. There prices do seem to have creeped up though and the M110 GX seems to be more technical with far more electrics

I've got an me8200 (year 2005) and m9540 (2012). Both with loaders. The older one is the better tractor overall, just seems better put together. The m9540 has a better/bigger cab but is less refined.

Only had small problems with the tractors.

BOTH tractors air seats have cut through the power cable. Have to take seat out to repair wire.

M9540 gear lever has snapped off. Top half is plastic, one screw came out and I didn't notice then snapped in half. Not priced up replacement yet just bodged it.

Older tractors exhaust rusted through.

They are just the job for us here. Powerful enough for what we do, all our own baling, wrapping, ploughing etc. Simple enough to fix yourself if needed. Very small and agile around tight yards. You will need a weight block on the rear for lifting anything serious oh and weights or a loader on the front if you put anything substantial on the back.

Was having a look around the 130hp new one at Brecon a month ago. Very smart but around the £50k mark so a bit too much for us.

Got a L5030 with a loader. 52 hp and it will pull the ass off our Claas Celtis with 83hp. Work that one out. It's 12 years old. Had it from new and only ever changed filters and oil. Nothing has fallen off, come loose or rattles. Absolute battleship. Also have a 36hp out front mower which is fantastic.
