We also found the spade lugs for it so look forward to getting them on and having a go ploughing (away from the road)

Leave it!Just sorting through photos our Model B first time out of the shed since 1964ish. View attachment 352910 Question remains to paint or not to paint??? Looks pretty good when rubbed with oil I rather think paint takes away from it. Got it back on rubbers now (metric) and looks the part. we also foud the spade lugs for it so look forward to getting them on and having a go ploughing (away from the road)
29 horsepower used to pull tonnes of seed tatties to the local station using only the tractor brakes to slow it down. Wouldn't be me mind. The drawbar pin jumped out one day and the trailer and Tatties shot through the stationmasters kitchen destroying it. From then on the trailer was known as the Torpedo. Same tractor trailer outfit used to cart a Deere Model D or Cat D2 about in the 40's and 50's.
Cheers BB

Eerughhh! That looks like a natty way to come home covered in wounds, boils and bits of snail.
They are worth a bit are they not?Classic Marshall MP6 worked in St Kitts then all the way across the US to Spokane Washington for a rebuild and back to the UK. Seen at Kent show. Not a 2 cylinder Deere on show disappointingly. Good selection but this was my highlight.View attachment 360228
