TexX ewes - which Tup to use?

So, I went abit daft... I've got 50 TexX ewes standing in isolation

Iv also got another 20 aged TexX ewes running amongst my commercials I bought one year I was short of numbers... so there's 70 in total!

The gimmers need vaccinated for Enzi. Got the vaccine this afternoon, doing them tomorrow. Theyl be clear to go to the ram asof 29th September, and I'm tempted to turn one in on the 1st October.

What tup do you all suggest? I'm cautious about using Texel - the existing ewes can be more problematic lambing then the Lleyns, don't mind helping the odd ewe - but not 70!! I could use a Lleyn, but terminal is the aim of the game...

Mind on, I'm lambing outside! So what do you all suggest? I've got my popcorn ready

I'm suffering from breed debate fatigue, I'd put lleyn to them if I already had lleyn tups. The wethers will be decent fat lambs and the ewe lambs will have added value as breeding stock to keep or sell.

Lleyn for maternal but as you said you want terminal then charollais, you won't be disappointed!

I'm not a massive fan of texel onto anything x texel either. I'd probably go for a charollais too or even a good cheviot.

The ewes I'd put to Suffolk with fine bones and a small head to catch the early lamb trade 3/4texal are good for toping Mart but are quite slow for the early lamb trade

Beltex, whilst easy lambing and great carcase, will grow too slow. I want fast growing.

Char will be too soft to lamb here 1st March... as could be Suffolk but those 2 are possibly the front runners.

Could just use the Lleyn - but where the fun in that?

We lambed 100 TexX gimmers and ewes this year from 21st february.
Went to a Char and a Beltex X Texel tups and hardly had to lamb many and all lambs away early on at a good weight of 45 -50kgs

Break the mold and try an Oxford. Lamb happily outside; hardy, quick growing, easy fleshed lambs.

Go to Brotherstone farm Melrose on the 8th sept and buy easy lambing grass fed suffolks

If anyone knows how to highlight, to the OP, my thread on the same matter a few weeks back.....

To summarise: the Charollais was recommended to me, or possibly a Beltex.

But...On Friday I'm hoping to go against the grain and view some high index Suffolks. If they look the part, and the figures suggest they are, then I may yet revert to my original plan = Suffolk surprise for the ladies.

They do something for me too. Maybe my memory of the dosey, shitty arsed, plain things is still too recent.

I shall refrain from posting the obvious answer, as I might be accused of being a) biased and b) predictable.

Would a Lleyn make sense though, and keep some stronger/improved ewes to go into the maternal flock. Everyone else with Lleyns is doing it, they can't all be daft.
