Why the adjustable comb? Is your dominant eye one the opposing side to the hand you use on the trigger?

£1,200 for a shotgun at 15 years old (or any age) for busting the odd clay is mental, unless you're going all Olympic. If you can't hit it with a Baikal, you can't hit it with a Beretta. My shotgun was £95 (y)
Comb is vertical sightline over or down the rib. Cast gives it the left eye, right shoulder aspect

I'd rather go for a brand new silver pigeon for that money.

I shot with a bloke who was for ever changing his chokes, cartridges, even had several coats and jackets with him, which he changed over the day. Also had weights in his stock that he kept tweaking. He wasn't even a very good shot.

Same with salmon fishing. Some blokes changing lines and flies and lengths of rods, and weights of reels...even the colour of their hooks.

Depends if you are a fiddler or not, but I'm not convinced about all this "adjustable" nonsense.

Yep, a Silver Pigeon will do you well. I bought mine for £1200 with multi chokes.

Any misses (and I have a few) are down to operator error not mechanical ones. Except the blank cartridges I fire occasionally.

Should have said I shoot a silver pigeon. Would consider fixed chokes next time as I don't often change them. 30 inch barrels sporter. It's 10 years old now I won't change it until I can afford something very expensive and that's not going to happen.

Funily enough, I bought this today. Berreta Silver Pigeon £1375. He offered me a second hand 686 evo at the same money. Didn't like it at all. I agree with what everyone else has said about all the adjustable stuff. Who is going to tell you what is right.

It's a classic first ones were made in the 50's how many things can be picked up and liked by most and work for all at an excellent price. Ive had a 12 still got a 20,brothers 8k eell is the same gun on the inside.

i dont want a Silver Pigeon because there only fixed combs! the reason i what a adjustable comb is becuase i have had a hell of a trouble getting my browning maxus to fit me!and i dont want one made to fix me because i will still be growing a bit so it will change hence the adjustable comb(y)there a lot of folk at the club that fit guns anyway(y)
