Hello,

I'm farming in Belgium (crops: sugar beet, wheat, chicory,barley,...; no livestock) and I would like to have
a subscription to a UK weekly agricultural journal... I'm interested to have news coming over the channel :)
I'm interested by agronomy, farm's maganement; farm's laws; equipments.
Also interested about livestock in order to know how this sector behaves.

Difficult to choose only on google results.

What is your advice?

Many thanks.

When I rarely get a copy of FG or FW they seem to be mostly advertising
Any ''news'' that they carry I have inevitably already read on here or some other outlet

If I was you I wouldn't bother with either of them just stay right here

FG is doing a lot more arable writing than it used to, some of it is actually worth reading! and doesn't seem as advertiser biased as FW

Not weekly but have a look at Farm Business as a general publication and Arable Farmer for a specific arable focus.
For machinery get a subscription to Farmers Guide.

One thing about this place that the mags dont do is the very wide spectrum of contributors.
We have everyone from the inveterate bodgers to those discussing the best way to get a top spec range rover, plus pics ranging from the latest direct drill to the latest in brazilian haircuts
