no chance of tracking it down then, but a good friend of mine knows where most of them are along with serial numbers

I've got a book written by former County demonstrator John Hull
Apparently 3 County 1884s were sold abroad, at least one of which was shipped to Port Elizabeth in kit form and then assembled in Zimbabwe

Thanks. If it ended up in Zimbabwe its definitely not alive anymore, especially if it was used on a sugar plantation

Yes. I hear the Chinese are farming in Zim now. Maybe they will find it and copy it so we could get a Chinese knock-off of the CountyHopefully it escaped

Is it all convicts doing the work. My mate works in Angola and he says the plane going there is always full of chinaman convicts that do work in the mines.
